Track Application Progress

Throughout the application process you will be able to see through our online portal, SONIS, a checklist of items required to complete your application. This checklist will be updated when items are received with an indicator of “YES” and the date the item was received/completed.

Completed files are reviewed by the committee after the application deadline has passed. Incomplete files are not reviewed by the Admissions Committee.  All applicants will receive a disposition letter via mail within 45 days of the application deadline.

Instructions for logging into SONIS:

1. Go to SJ SONIS (

2. Hover over the login tab and a drop down menu will appear

3. Click on Applicant which will bring you to a new page

4. You will need to enter the email address you used when creating your online app as well as your pin, then click login (contact us if you forget your pin)

5. After completing step 4 you should now see the checklist of items required.

Please note that as we receive your documents, new items may be added to your checklist (i.e. a new school name for a required transcript, or a letter from a dean of a previous nursing program) so be sure to check back frequently.
